ADA M. DAVIS , 72, of Cleghorn, Iowa, passed away Tuesday evening, April 14, 2020 at her residence.

Ada was born on June 30, 1947 at Cleveland, Ohio to Franklin & Margaret (Kvasnicka) Dawson. She was married to Frank Powers in California and the couple moved back to Iowa. She had worked several jobs over the years to help raise her family. She loved animals, especially cats, pigs, geese and bald eagles. Family was very important to her and she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She had been a resident of Cleghorn the past five years and prior to this lived on a farm near Paullina, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Walter Everetts Jr., two brothers Robert and Edward Ward, three sisters Frances Franklin, Carol Hopcroft and Eleanor Bernal.

She is survived by three children: Gene (Diane) Brown of Hartley, Iowa; Bonnie Everetts (Rodney Bell) of Spencer, Iowa; Frankie Everetts of Cleghorn, Iowa; 14 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; one sister: Marge :Candy" Pierce of Florida; also several nieces and nephews.
