ALLAN R. KECK, 69, of Sibley, Iowa, formerly of Washta, Iowa, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2026 at Sibley Specialty Care Nursing Home in Sibley, Iowa.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, August 14, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the Washta Church of Faith. Pastor Barb Dinelli will officiate. Burial will be in the Grand Meadow Cemetery at rural Washta, Iowa. Military rites will be performed by L.A. Wescott Post #2253 and the Cherokee American Legion. Visitation with the family present will be held an hour prior to services beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the church. The Boothby Funeral Home of Cherokee, Iowa is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Cherokee County Suicide Coalition in Allan’s honor.
