Ann (Stonebrook) Demma formerly of Schaumburg, Illinois, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother went to be with The Lord on Saturday, May 17, 2014. She maintained her sunny disposition while enduring a long journey with Alzheimer's until her peaceful passing in California. She will always be remembered for her big smile, welcoming personality and creative crafts. Ann will be greatly missed by her sisters Joyce Woods of Cherokee, Iowa, and Susan Triggs (Harley) of Ankeny, Iowa, her three children Bill (Debbie) Demma, Mary (Rich) Mazon and Kay (Dan) Moore, eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, also many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank English Oaks, Modesto California, for all of the happiness, attentive care and love they provided to her over the past many years. In lieu of flowers, donations to alz.org are preferred.

Graveside memorial services will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Oak Hill Cemetery at Cherokee, Iowa. Rev. Ethan Sayler will officiate. The Boothby Funeral Home in Cherokee is assisting the family with the arrangements. Online condolences can be left at www.boothbyfuneral.com
