Brandon was born on May 22, 1991, in Cherokee, Iowa, to Ron and Jan (Haselhoff) Schirrmacher. He graduated from Battle Creek–Ida Grove High School and continued his education at Iowa Lakes Community College in Estherville.

Brandon built a successful career with Bankers Life in Des Moines, where he took great pride in his work and the relationships he formed. His dedication and talent led him to be recognized as #23 in the nation in sales and later #1 in his office—achievements he valued deeply.

Brandon was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He volunteered with Big Brothers-Big Sisters, coaching youth soccer, and participating in the Knights of Columbus.

Brandon found his greatest joy in the simple moments—especially fishing and spending time with his beloved grandparents, Don and Jean Haselhoff. His Grandpa Don was his best friend, and he carried his memory close to his heart. Above all, Brandon cherished his “little man,” Jett, whom he loved to the moon and back.

He was preceded in death by his grandpas Don Haselhoff and Bill Schirrmacher, great grandparents Arnold and Mildred Haselhoff and Harry and Shirley Rasmussen, and great uncle Jim Haselhoff.

Brandon will be lovingly remembered by his parents Ron and Jan Schirrmacher of Ida Grove, Iowa; his children Jett Michael and Kenleigh and their mother Megan; grandmas Jean Haselhoff and Joan Schirrmacher; aunts and uncles, Ann and Mike Letsche, Jim and Susie Haselhoff and their daughters, and Lynn and Robert Tevis, and Randy and Andrea Schirrmacher and family.
