Obituary

Carol passed away Friday evening, June 6th, with loved ones by her side.

It was Carol's wish to be cremated.  There will be no services at this time.  The Boothby Funeral Home of Cherokee, Iowa is assisting the family with arrangements.  Online condolences may be left at www.boothbyfuneral.com.

Carol was born November 7th, 1960 in Forsyth, Montana. Carol was the 5th, and youngest child, of Raymond and Helen (Shandy) Brown. Carol spent a majority of her childhood in Forsyth, where she attended school until 11th grade. Carol moved to Saint Regis, Montana her junior year to live with her sister June, and graduated high school from Saint Regis High School in 1980.

Following high school, Carol moved back to Forsyth where she worked at a local restaurant. On July 11th, 1982, Carol met the love of her life, Randy Eaton, when he asked her to dance at a local saloon. The two began their courtship, and were wed March 6th, 1984. The two had their first-born Joshua, in January of 1985, and moved to Cherokee in the spring of that year. The two also had a daughter, Jasmine, in the summer of 1988.

Carol spent her life providing care for others, from being a mother to those in the area through healthcare services she worked for. Carol enjoyed spending time with her family and husband, especially doing things outdoors. Carol enjoyed taking part in golf league, fishing and boating, and gardening. Carol was also very spiritual, and her and Randy were members of the Meriden Evangelical Free Church in Meriden, IA.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Helen Brown (Shandy) of Forsyth, Montana.

Carol is survived by her husband Randy Eaton of Cherokee; her son Joshua Eaton of Cherokee, her daughter Jasmine (Ross) Fitzgerald, and their children Braxton, Gaven, Colt, Payton, and Scarlett of Cherokee; her brother Clarence (Patsy) Brown of Miles City, Montana; her brother Charlie (Terri) Brown of Forsyth, Montana; her sister June (Rod) Beattie of Forsyth, Montana; Darlene (Bob) Pestreich of Forsyth, Montana, and many nieces and nephews.
