CHARLES L. DILOCKER, 81, of Seguin, Texas passed away in the VA Hospital in San Antonio on April 3, 2022 with his good friend at his side, and was given a military honor guard presentation at the time.

Charles was born October 3, 1940 in Storm Lake, Iowa to Earl and Eunice Dilocker.  While a child, Charles moved to Rosenberg, Texas with his father.  He graduated from Rosenberg High School. He then joined the United States Army and served his country for 20 years, including tours in Vietnam.

He was not married at the time of his death.  He was preceded in death by his father, many uncles, aunts, and other family members.

Charles is survived by his aunt, uncle, cousins and friends.  He will be missed by the friends he made while living in Seguin, Texas.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 15, 2022 at 11 a.m. at the Cherokee Memory Gardens. Pastor Jonathan Riggert will officiate. Military rites will be conducted at the graveside by L.A. Wescott Post #2253 of the V.F.W. and the Cherokee American Legion. The Boothby Funeral Home in Cherokee, Iowa is in charge of the local arrangements.
