CLARA M. HAHN, 94, of Cherokee, Iowa passed away Monday, December 19, 2011 at Cherokee Villa Nursing & Rehab Center.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, December 22nd, at 10:30 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cherokee, Iowa. Pastor Shari O'Bannon will officiate. Clara was born April 2, 1917 at Sutherland, Iowa William and Mary (Jepsen) Schutt. She attended country school. She was married to Orville "Todd" Hahn on September 5, 1935 at Dakota City, Nebraska. She had worked at Sioux Valley Memorial Hospital in the housekeeping department in Cherokee for 20 years. She had lived in Cherokee all her married life. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband on August 18, 1996 and a son Roger in 1990, a daughter-in-law Sandra Hahn, also three brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by one son and one daughter: Ronald Hahn of Marcus, Iowa; Carol Kielhorn and her husband Larry of Holstein, Iowa; a daughter-in-law Theresa Hahn of Spokane, Washington; 9 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren, 14 great-great grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews.
