DANIEL S. ROBINSON, 64 , of Cherokee, Iowa, passed away at his residence on Sunday, August 7, 2022.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, August 15, 2022 at 2:30 p.m. at Boothby Funeral Home in Cherokee, Iowa.  There will be no visitation.  Pastor Jonathan Riggert will officiate.  Online condolences may be left at www.boothbyfuneral.com .

Daniel was born on September 10, 1957 to Melvin and Delores (Ell) Robinson at Cherokee, Iowa.  He graduated from Quimby Schools.  He later attended technical college in Sheldon, Iowa receiving an HVAC certification.  Daniel worked for Wilson's Foods and was also self-employed as a handyman and jack of all construction trades.

He was married to Carey Menard, together they had one child, Winter.

Daniel was a generous man.  He enjoyed gardening, walks around Spring Lake Park, listening to music, and his overall health and wellness.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother David in 1979, and his ex-wife, Carey.

Daniel is survived by his daughter, Winter (Marcus) Hilde of Arnolds Park, Iowa; siblings, Barbara Scott of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Donna Geidl of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Bonnie (Jim) Kohn of Cherokee, Iowa, Scott Robinson of Sioux Center, Iowa, Sharon (Joe) Zinser of Corinth, Texas, and Roxanne Cunningham of Johnston, Iowa; also several nieces and nephews.
