DAVID LEE BRIGGS, 58, of Larrabee, Iowa, passed away suddenly Wednesday after noon June 14, 2017 at his farm home.
David was born May 25, 1959 at Cherokee, Iowa to George & Darlene (Nelson) Briggs. He attended Cherokee schools. He had worked as a mechanic, maintenance man and farm hand for several years.
He enjoyed outdoor activities, working on older vehicles, and the simple things in life. He was affiliated with the Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
He was preceded in death by his mother Darlene Briggs and step-mother Dolores Briggs.
He is survived by his two sons: Chris Briggs of Des Moines, Iowa and his children Braydon and Brandi; Joshua Briggs and his wife Misty of Alta, Iowa and their children Chelsey and Dayton; his father George O. Briggs of Cherokee, Iowa; brother Doug Briggs (Kay Schmidt) of Marcus, Iowa; sister Debra (Warren) Sleezer of Las Vegas, Nevada.
