DAVID  P.  ERICKSON , 54, of Cherokee, Iowa passed away suddenly Friday afternoon, February 4, 2022 at his residence.

David was born on June 24, 1967 to Kenneth C. and Diane (Gill) Erickson.  He graduated from Meriden-Cleghorn High School in 1985.  He enlisted in the United States Army and served with the 185 ^th Air Cavalry as a Diesel Mechanic.

He worked for Schoon Construction for several years.  He had also worked for Jane Miller as a construction worker and handyman and most recently he was working for Lopez Foods in the Sanitation Department.

He enjoyed watching CW reruns on the television, digging for bottles, and enjoying life.  David was a huge Dallas Cowboys football fan.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Diane Erickson.

He is survived by two brothers: Daniel Erickson of Cherokee, Iowa and Michael Erickson of Rapid City, South Dakota; also several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
