Debra A. Brooks , 64, of Cherokee, Iowa passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at Careage Hills Nursing Home.

It was Debra's wish to be cremated and that there would be no services.  Boothby Funeral Home of Cherokee, Iowa is assisting with family with the arrangements.

Debra was born on December 1, 1956 to Lloyd and Martha (Hiland) Leeds in Kansas City, Missouri.  She graduated from Center High School in Kansas City in 1975.  She worked at various grocery stores in the delicatessen departments until her retirement on June 1 ^st , 2016.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Allen Brooks, three sisters Lola Moore, Connie Witt, and Barbara Boyer, and a brother Denis Leeds.
