DELOIS A. GLOVER, 73, of Cherokee, Iowa and former Omaha, Nebraska resident passed away Friday, June 12, 2009 at the Buena Vista Regional Medical Center in Storm Lake.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 17th, at 10:30 a.m. at the Boothby Funeral Home in Cherokee, Iowa. Pastor Larry Nilson will officiate. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Cherokee. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. with the family present from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Delois was born June 21, 1935 at Munford, Tennessee to Gordon S. and Oney Lois (Millican) Talley. She had lived in Cherokee since August 2005, being a resident of the Cherokee Villa, prior to this in Omaha, Nebraska, Mobile, Alabama and was originally from Munford, Tennessee. She was married to Fred Nails in 1951 at Munford, TN. She was married to Bill Glover in 1959 at Mobile, Alabama. She had worked as a waitress and was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing bingo, craftwork, and spending time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her two husbands and four sisters Mildred Marcy, Enola Gray, Ruby Farris and Bernice Craig.

She is survived by her children: Fred Nails and his wife Jackie of Blue Springs, MO; Albert Nails and his wife Sue of Lakeland, Florida; Ammie Barry and her husband Tom of Omaha, Nebraska; Ann Schmidt and her husband Rick of Cherokee, Iowa; 11 grandchildren: Michelle, Anthony, Carrie, Rodney (Sara), Tammy, and Christopher Nails; Colleen and Corrina Barry; Kelly (Kyle) Wilkie, Mike (Sandi) Frazier; Richie Schmidt; 8 great grandchildren; two brothers and one sister: Albert (Ellen Faye) Talley of Munford, TN; Vernon (Eleanor) Talley of Munford, TN; Lucille Embry of Munford, TN.
