DONNA  M.  TVEITNES, 90, of Cherokee, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Cherokee Specialty Care in Cherokee, Iowa.

Graveside funeral services will  be held on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. in the Oak Hill Cemetery at Cherokee, Iowa.  There will be no visitation  Online condolences may be left at www.boothbyfuneral.com .

Donna was born on May 24, 1932 at Cherokee, Iowa to William Gilman & Lillian (Bauer) Fee. She graduated from Cherokee Wilson High School in 1950. She was married to Howard Tveitnes on January 20, 1951 at Jackson, Minnesota. Donna was a homemaker and helped out around the farm; sold Tupperware for a number of years and had also worked at Hy-Vee for several years. She enjoyed knitting. She had been a resident of Cherokee County all of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Howard in 2020, and a sister Beverly Ann Monroe.

She is survived by two sons: Donald (Tina) Tveitnes of Norwalk, Ohio; Troy (Lisa) Tveitnes of Muskego, Wisconsin; one grandson: Zachary Tveitnes of Seward, Nebraska.
