Dr. Al Kennedy, 84, of Cherokee, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2026 at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

A Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Cherokee, Iowa. Father Dan Rupp will officiate. Burial will be in the Mount Calvary Cemetery at Cherokee, Iowa. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the I.C. Catholic Church with the family being present from 5-7:00 p.m. There will be a prayer service at the church at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
