ELIZABETH M.  MOLES , 78, of Cherokee, Iowa, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, January 22, 2019 in Careage Hills.

Memorial services will be held on Sunday, March 10 ^th , at 2 p.m. at the Boothby Funeral Home in Cherokee, Iowa. Pastor Larry Ostercamp will officiate. Online condolences can be left at www.boothbyfuneral.com

Elizabeth was born on January 15, 1941 at Washta, Iowa to Harold & Darlene (Cowart) Jenkins. She attended Washta High School. She was married to Carlos Moles on June 21, 1959. She had worked as an administrative assistant in California for many years retiring in 1993. She had lived in California until 2002 when she moved back to Cherokee, Iowa to be closer to her family.

She enjoyed reading, cooking, watching football, and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Carlos Moles, brothers Joe Powell, George Powell, Dave (Maurine) Powell; sisters Bertha Wieland, Mary LeRiger, Rachael Hefner, and Becky Saxen; brothers-in-law: Kenneth Byerly, Robert Hirschman; sister-in-law Janet Jenkins.

She is survived by a daughter: Karla (Kevin) Marin of Chino Hills, California; two grandsons: Matthew Marin of Chino Hills, California; Alec Marin of San Jose, California; one brother and two sisters: Samuel Jenkins of Washta, Iowa; Alyce Hirschman of Cherokee, Iowa; Viola Byerly of Cherokee, Iowa; a brother-in-law Eugene Weiland of Cherokee, Iowa; also many nieces and nephews.
