Emil F. Pisch

Emil Frederick Pisch Jr. age 77, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 28^,  2018, at Careage Hills Nursing Home in Cherokee, IA. He was born September 21, 1940, in Wilkes-Barre, PA, to Emil & Sophie (Franz) Pisch.

Emil worked in the meat packing industry for his entire working career, including Wilson Foods/Tyson Foods in Cherokee, IA. He was an avid NASCAR fan; his favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt, and later Dale Earnhardt , Jr. He was also a devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Some fond memories were helping his children restore old vehicles, fishing tournaments with the grandchildren, and collecting antiques.

Emil is survived by his ex-wife Marilyn Pisch (Johnston) of Cedar Rapids, IA, and ex-wife Paula Pisch (Rupp) of Cherokee, IA; his children: Emil Pisch & wife Sandy of Nashport, OH, Helen Pisch of Marion, IA, Marilyn "Tina" Stout (Pisch) & husband Kirk of Marion, IA, Beth Pisch of Marion, IA, Joseph Pisch & fiance Nancy of North Liberty, IA, Judith Randall (Pisch) & husband Bill of Cedar Rapids, IA, and Brian Pisch & wife Kathryn of Blairstown, IA; his grandchildren: Nicole & husband Chris, Kevin & wife Nicolyn, Marcus, Tyler & wife Kelsie, Kirk Jr., Jason, Shelby & husband Jason, William, Alexander & Adrianna; his great-grandchildren: Wyatt, Saige, Elyon & Daxtyn; brother-in-law Matt Franckowiak, and nephews Matt and Mark Franckowiak.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Betty Franckowiak, and brother-in-law Joseph Johnston.
