GARY DEAN EINERWOLD, 63, of Cherokee, Iowa passed away Friday, December 10, 2010 at his home.

Gary was born May 20, 1947 at Hartley, Iowa to O'Dean and Darlene (Ginger) Einerwold. He graduated from Sutherland High School in 1965. He served in the Iowa National Guard as A Platoon Sergeant from 1968 and was discharged in 1970. He was married to Shirley Menkeron September 17, 1968 at Colorado Springs, Colorado. He worked at Wilson Foods for many years, retiring in 1995. He was affiliated with the Lutheran Church. He enjoyed carpentry, loved cars and enjoyed watching stock car races.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Jeffery Einerwold, brother Daryl Einerwold and infant brother Dennis..

He is survived by a daughter Tayla Simmons of Chandler, Indiana; a daughter-in-law Joy Einerwold of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; his step-mother Betty Einerwold of Sutherland, Iowa; special people in Gary's life including a sister-in-law Janet Lucas, special friends Jim & Sue Nelson and Rod & Marci Brown.
