GLEN A. DOWDY, 60, of Spencer, Iowa, formerly of Cherokee, Iowa, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Glen was born on September 19, 1963 to Eugene and Frances Dowdy at Storm Lake, Iowa.  Glen earned his G.E.D. and he worked as a turkey farm laborer.  He was married and widowed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Carl and Howard, and sister-in-law Dixie Lester.

Glen is survived by his siblings, Darrell Lester of Sioux Rapids, Iowa, Ed (Jan) Dowdy of Sioux Rapids, Iowa, and Linda Hanson of Ocheyedan, Iowa; sisters-in-law Carmen Dowdy of Cherokee, Iowa and Mary Dowdy of Aurelia, Iowa; also several nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
