Obituary
HAROLD M. HAZEN, 75, of LeMars, Iowa and originally from Cleghorn, Iowa, passed away Sunday evening, November, 29, 2015 in the Floyd Valley Hospital at LeMars, Iowa.
Private family services will be held. There will be no visitation. The Boothby Funeral Home in Cherokee has charge of the arrangements. On line condolences may be left at

Harold was born July 24, 1940. His parents were Maurice and Lois Birch Hazen.
He graduated from Cleghorn High School in 1958 and attended Westmar College in LeMars for two years. He was married to Anita Gottsche on November 29, 1959 at Cleghorn, Iowa. Harold had lived in LeMars for 51 years, prior to this in Cleghorn. He was affiliated with the Presbyterian Church. Harold loved playing golf and following the Iowa Hawkeyes.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a granddaughter Kristen Hazen, his in-laws, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is survived by his wife Anita; and two children; Neal (Kathy) Hazen of Newell, Iowa
Kimberly (Paul) Staab of Remsen, Iowa; 6 grandchildren; Nikki Hazen, Ryan (Courtney) Hazen, Aaron (Tiffany) Hazen, Kacy (Gerardo) Ramirez, Michael Staab, Mandy Staab, 10 great grandchildren, Jayden and Karson Seaver, Payten & Andrew Hazen, Maddison and Sadie Staab Aidan and Abby Rubendall, Landyn Hazen and Aeryn Hazen, one sister Marlene (Gordon) Perkins of Cleghorn, Iowa.
