Jane A. Walker, 70, passed away on February 17th, 2025 at her residence in Cherokee, Iowa after battling stage IV cancer for over 4 years.

Private family memorial services will be held at a later date.  Burial will be in the Pilot Township Cemetery at rural Cherokee, Iowa.  The Boothby Funeral Home of Cherokee, Iowa is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be left at www.boothbyfuneral.com.

She was born on January 9th, 1955 to Gladys (Streed) Albers and Arnold Albers, their third daughter. Jane attended Willow Community School of Quimby  and went on to the University of South Dakota.

Following her graduation she married Randy Walker and began her employment at Cherokee Mental Health where she dedicated 40 years of service.

Jane is survived by her loving husband Randy, daughter Karina (Walker) and James Cascione and son Wyatt and Allie (Tisthammer) Walker as well as her grandchildren; Westyn Walker, Isabella Cascione, Hutton Cascione and Cole Walker.
