JOYCE E. ALLBAUGH, 78, of Quimby, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at her home in Quimby, Iowa.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 2:30 p.m. at Boothby Funeral Home in Cherokee, Iowa.  Pastor Don Meyer will officiate.  Burial will be in the Grandview Cemetery at Quimby, Iowa.  Visitation with the family present  will be held on Friday evening, February 2, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Boothby Funeral Home in Cherokee, Iowa.  Online condolences may be left at www.boothbyfuneral.com.

Joyce was born on June 21, 1945 to Lloyd and Lela (Small) Huffman at Washta, Iowa.  She attended Willow School, graduating in 1963.  She was united in marriage to Willis Allbaugh on November 8, 1964 at Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Quimby, Iowa.

Joyce was a homemaker and stayed busy raising her children.  She had worked for Terra Chemical for two years. She was devoted to the Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Quimby, serving as their secretary for 43 years until her retirement in September 2023.  She was a member of the Naomi Society, Quimby Spitfires, Quimby Town and Country Club and member of the Quimby Golf Course.  In her spare time she enjoyed reading, crocheting, and spending time with her family.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, sister Judy Stieneke, grandson Alex Allbaugh, and great grandson Ryker.

Joyce is survived by her husband Willie Allbaugh of Quimby, Iowa; children, Jeffrey (Amy) Allbaugh of Surprise, Arizona, Gary (Tami) Allbaugh of Indianapolis, Indiana, Michael Allbaugh (Kirsten Siegel) of Ankeny, Iowa, and Christopher (Lea) Allbaugh of Quimby, Iowa; 6 grandchildren Mailey (Will) Prim, Ryon Allbaugh, Amanda (Todd) Townsend, Hailey Allbaugh, Harrison Allbaugh, and Madison Biery; great granddaughter Veronika; special son from Finland Jan Blomquist.
