Obituary
JUNE M. DILOCKER, 86, of Cherokee, Iowa, passed away peacefully, Monday morning, November 13, 2017 in the Cherokee Regional Medical Center.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, November 16th, at 10:30 a.m.a t the Boothby Funeral Home in Cherokee, Iowa. Pastor Jon Riggert will officiate. It was June's wish to be cremated. There will be no visitation. Online condolences can be left at www.boothbyfuneral.com
June was born on June 17, 1931 in Cherokee, Iowa to John & Beulah (Shaw) Bunney. She graduated Cherokee Wilson High school in 1949. She was married to B.C. "Bud' Dilocker on July 7, 1950 at Carroll, Iowa. June was a lifelong resident of Cherokee. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary. June enjoyed sewing and crocheting, and loved her family, especially all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Edwin Bunney, three sisters Lucille Gravenish, Blondina Grieneke, Beverly Stieneke, and three great grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband B.C. " Bud"Dilocker of Cherokee, Iowa; four children: Randie (John) Hardiman of Council Bluffs, Iowa; Tom (Sue) Dilocker of Jamestown, North Dakota; Tim (Vicki) Dilocker of Cherokee, Iowa; Kellie (Dean) Douvia of Remsen, Iowa; 14 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren; a brother-in-law Jim Grieneke of Alta, Iowa.
