KEITH "PAT" RYAN, of Sioux City, Iowa passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at St. Luke's Regional Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa following a brief illness.

He was born on June 1, 1935 at Anthon, Iowa to Edward P. and Ruby (Swain) Ryan. He graduted from Cherokee High School in 1954. He served in the U. S. Navy from 1955 until 1959. He was a painter for many years retiring in 1986. He had lived in Sioux City the past 15 years and had also lived in Texas and Cherokee. He enjoyed watching fast pitch softball while living in Sioux City and all kinds of sporting events on television, especially the Iowa Hawkeyes.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers Stanley Ryan and Jerry Ryan.
He is survived by one daughter, Denise Ramsey and her husband Scott of Tacoma, Washington; one son Bradley W. Ryan; two granddaughters: Lindsay Myers and her husband Daniel of Maple Valley, Washington; Lacey Hughes and her husband Joshua of Buckley, Washington; two great grandsons Carter Myers and Carson Hughes; a brother Mike J. Ryan and his wife Tessie of Tyler, Texas; several nieces and nephews including: Aimee Rupp and her husband Steve of Cherokee Gigi Boothby and her husband David of Cherokee, Ida Ryan of Tyler, Texas.
