KENNETH GLENN VOTH II , 40, of Chariton, Iowa, formerly of Cherokee, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022 in Greenback, Tennessee.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at the Boothby Funeral Home in Cherokee, Iowa. Pastor Mike Agnew will officiate. Public visitation will be held from 1:00 until service time. Online condolences may be left at www.boothbyfuneral.com .
He was born on September 1, 1981 to Kenneth Glenn Voth and Darla Shields in Millington, Tennessee. He spent most of his childhood in Colorado with his mother and step-father, Ed Alcorn. The family moved to Cherokee, where he met the love of his life, Marissa Skay. He attended Cherokee and Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn Schools. Glenn worked many jobs before starting a career at Harley-Davidson in 2003. He became a master technician and lead mechanic at C & C Harley Davidson in Chariton, Iowa. In 2006, he became a father when Kenneth Glenn Voth III was born. A daughter, Lola Olivia Voth would complete the family in 2010.
He was a motorcycle enthusiast and took great joy in building custom bikes as the lead mechanic at C & C Harley-Davidson in Chariton, Iowa. Glenn enjoyed activities with his family, fishing, camping, hanging out with his friends and his old Ford Truck. He was a proud Christian and enjoyed sharing his faith in Jesus with others. He always said "I am a warrior for God". Glenn was a great father and loved his children and family.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Patty Shields and sister, Angela Harris.
Glenn leaves behind his mother, Darla "Shields" Renfro of Tulelake, California; stepfather Ed Alcorn of Cleghorn, Iowa; his paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Joan Voth of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and a half-brother Michael T. Harris of Greenback, Tennessee.
Glenn also leaves behind his long time love, Marissa Skay and their two children, Kenneth Glenn Voth III and Lola Olivia Voth of Chariton, Iowa.
He will be deeply missed by his many friends and extended family.
