Obituary

LINDA COLLEEN MILLER, 51, of St. Helens, Oregon, passed away peacefully at her home in St. Helens on Tuesday, September 21st, 2010, following a four year battle with ovarian cancer.


Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 30th at 11 A.M. at the Boothby Funeral Home in Cherokee, Iowa. Rev. Marvin Miller will officiate. It was Linda's wishes to be cremated. Burial of the cremains will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Cherokee. Online condolences can be left at www.boothbyfuneral.com.

Linda was born in Shakopee, Minnesota on May 18th, 1959 to Robert & Liane (Jensen) Miller. Linda graduated from Benson High school in Omaha, Nebraska. She was married to Dan Molgard in 1977 for ten years. She was later remarried to Steven Zsarko in 1995 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Toward the end of her life, she was single until she met her faithful friend, Rick Arthun, who stayed by her side for 2 years until she stepped into eternity. Linda spent a few years being a stay at home mother, then worked several years at various car dealerships in California, McCloskey's in Colorado, and Carr Auto Group in Oregon. Due to declining health, Linda had to quit working in February 2010. Linda enjoyed playing pool at the Columbia Tavern in St. Helens, camping, fishing, getting together with her co-workers, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Liane, sister, Cynthia Hansen, 1 aunt and 2 cousins.
She is survived by her father, Robert of Sidney, Iowa; two daughters: Melissa Kragel and her husband Toby of Rush, Colorado; Becky Vail and her husband Bryan of Colorado Springs, Colorado; 4 grandchildren: Rebecca Kragel, Madison Kragel, Ryder Vail, and Toby K. Kragel; a brother-in-law Ronald Hansen of Omaha, Nebraska; a great-aunt Jean Sundberg of Champlin, Minnesota; 3 aunts and 3 uncles; several cousins and many friends.
