LISA EILEEN  FIEDLER , 53, of Cherokee, Iowa, passed away with her family at her side, Sunday afternoon, April 14, 2019 in the Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, April 19 ^th , at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Cherokee, Iowa. Rev. Cris Decious will officiate. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. with the family present form 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Boothby Funeral Home in Cherokee, Iowa. Lisa was born on September 26th, 1965 to David Phillip & Mary Margret (McDermott) Bennett in Cherokee Iowa, the youngest of 4 siblings. She attended Cherokee schools and graduated from Washington High School in 1984. She was married to Jeffery Fiedler on August 18th, 1990 at the St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Cherokee, Iowa. They were blessed with two children Allisha Mary (20) & James David (18). Lisa attended Western Iowa Tech Community College, graduating in 2004 with a 4.0 and a degree in Office Technology Professional, all while being a wife and raising two small children. She worked at K-Products/Staples for 25 years, she was a woman with an enormous heart, always putting others before herself. She was an avid baker and spent most of her free time with family, supporting them in all they did which earned her the title of the sweet & fun sister. Lisa touched every heart she came in contact with and immediately turned stranger into friend.

Lisa was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Margaret.

She is survived by her husband, Jeffery Fiedler of Cherokee, Iowa; Her two children, Allisha Fiedler & James David "JD" Fiedler of Cherokee, Iowa; her father David Bennett of Marcus, Iowa; three siblings: Julie (Paul) Gustafson of Remsen, Iowa; Diane (Robert) Sleezer of Aurelia, Iowa; Daniel (Renee) Bennet of Aurelia, Iowa; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, family & friends.
