MARVEL D. HINKHOUSE, 87 , of Cherokee, Iowa, formerly of Pierson, Iowa, passed away Tuesday morning, September 26, 2023 at Cherokee Regional Medical Center in Cherokee, Iowa.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 29, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Pleasant Cemetery at rural Marcus, Iowa.  Pastor Larry Ostercamp will officiate.  There will be no visitation.  The Boothby Funeral  Home of Cherokee, Iowa is assisting the family with the arrangements.  Online condolences may be left at www.boothbyfuneral.com.
