MARY C. LOUCKS, 90, of Quimby, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at her home in Quimby, Iowa.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, April 27, 2026 at 1:30 p.m. at Quimby United Methodist Church in Quimby, Iowa. Visitation with the family present will begin at 12:30 p.m. at the church in Quimby until service time. Burial will be held in the Pilot Township Cemetery at rural Cherokee, Iowa at a later date. Mary was born on December 25, 1935 to Clifford and LaVerne (Fell) Streed. She graduated from Quimby High School in 1954. She was united in marriage to William LaMee and was later married to Ron Loucks on June 10, 1978.

She worked as a beekeeper, bartender, florist, and for Happy Bear in the local schools.

She was a member of Quimby United Methodist Church and was active in church circle activities. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society.

In her free time, she enjoyed spending any time with family and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband William LaMee, two brothers Robert Streed and Verdene Streed.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Ron Loucks of Quimby, Iowa; her children, Rich (Tracie) LaMee of San Juan Capistrano, California, Willa Campbell of Cherokee, Iowa, Tori May (Randy Smith) of Cherokee, Iowa, Rory (Sandy) Loucks of Storm Lake, Iowa, Tani Rodriquez of Disputanta, Virginia, Terri (Walter) Adolphs of Willow, Alaska, Donnie (Sara) Loucks of Cherokee, Iowa,and Leland (Maggie) Loucks of Cherokee, Iowa; 19 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
