MARY LOU LINDSTROM, 89, of Cherokee, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at Sheldon Sanford Senior Place in Sheldon, Iowa.

Mary Lou was born on April 22, 1934 to Bert and Letha (Doupe) Everett at Meriden, Iowa.

She was united in marriage to Daryl Lindstrom on September 6, 1953 at Cherokee, Iowa.

She was a member of the Memorial Presbyterian Church in Cherokee, Iowa.

Mary Lou worked as the County Recorder for Cherokee County.

In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, crocheting, watching t.v. and animals.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, special friend Don Reeves and sister Mildred Hyndman.

Mary Lou is survived by her daughters, Debbie (Don) Bartlett of Spencer, Iowa, Monica (Steve) Brink of Sanborn, Iowa, and Amy (Cliff) Schultz of Harrisburg, South Dakota; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren; her extended family, Randy and Marsha Reeves and their daughters and Rose Beazley.
