MERLENE K. ALBRIGHT, 83, of Cherokee, Iowa passed away on January 1, 2026 at her home in Cherokee, Iowa.

It was Merlene's wish to be cremated.  The Boothby Funeral Home of Cherokee, Iowa is assisting the family with arrangements.

Merlene was born on March 7, 1942 at Shenandoah, Iowa to Alvin and Edna (Pella) Maranville.  She was united in marriage to Harry Albright in 1979.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Harry in 2018.

Merlene is survived by her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
