Murray is survived by his beloved support puppy "Marley", brother Michael Maddox (Rebecca) of Bloomington, Minnesota, his sister Peggy Maddox (Les) of Fargo, North Dakota.
Many nieces and nephews, Great nieces and nephews and close friends.

Murray attended Washington High School during 1965-1969 whereas he participated in many sports and was a highly decorated Track and Field star in running events. He was a hard act to follow (chase) back in the day! Murray was a loyal Minnesota Twins Baseball fan along with his father and a San Francisco 49ers Football fan.
He loved to golf, fish and was an avid Scuba Diver in which he travelled the world wide to experience the beauty of the seas.
He was employed at Bepex International in the shipping department. He developed many close friends there after well over 20 years of employment.
Shortly before his unexpected death; he and his beloved brother, Michael, set out on a long journey along with their puppies who were also brothers. They travelled hundreds of miles together in a pop up camper. The four "pals" travelled out West as far as Moeb, Utah for nearly three weeks. They returned to have an extended visit with his sweet sister Peggy, his brother Michael and his sister-in-law Rebecca on Gull Lake in Northern Minnesota.
Murray was able to spend his last days with his loved ones fishing and relaxing.

A private Celebration of Life for Murray will be held at Buena Vista Memorial Park Cemetery in Storm Lake, Iowa with Rev. Cris Decious officiating. He will be interred along side his parents and his sister. We will miss you dearly, forever and for always Murray.
Be at peace with your Heavenly Father.
