NEAL ROBERT ROGGE

Neal Robert Rogge, age 66 of Cherokee, IA, passed away Friday, March 21, 2025, at his residence. Memorial services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at the Greenwood-Schubert Funeral Home in Cherokee, IA. Pastor Mike Agnew will officiate. Burial will be at Liberty Township Cemetery. Visitation with the family present will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time Wednesday, at the funeral home. Neal Robert Rogge, 66, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2025, at his home in rural Cherokee. Neal was born in Cherokee on June 16, 1958, to Arnold and Roberta Rogge.

Over the years, Neal had been active in numerous community and civic organizations. He was a lifelong farmer, and well known throughout the area by his many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Roberta Rogge, and a younger brother, Darryl Rogge.

Neal is survived by his sister, Jeanene and husband Dean Meylor, Summerfield, North Carolina. Brothers Don Rogge and wife Debra, Loveland, Colorado and Bruce Rogge and wife Lynne, Charleston South Carolina. And a sister-in-law Renee Rogge of Minnesota. He left behind five nieces and nephews, six great nieces and nephews.

Neal will be sorely missed by his family and friends.
