Parker Lee Wetherell, 21 months of Cherokee, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at Cherokee Regional Medical Center in Cherokee, Iowa.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 28, 2024 at the Meriden Evangelical Free Church in Meriden, Iowa. Pastor Nelson Jenkins will officiate. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery at Cherokee, Iowa. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 27th from 3:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. with the family present from 5:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at the Boothby Funeral Home in Cherokee, Iowa. Parker was born on July 7, 2022 to Callie Peta and Michael Wetherell at Fairmont, Minnesota.

Parker loved 4-wheeler rides with his Dad, endless snuggles and long naps with his Momma, and being a big brother to Cooper. He loved showing off and had the absolutely BEST facial expressions ever.  Some of his favorite things to do were getting Fry Fry's from McDonald's, dancing and singing to Blippy and Miss Rachel, playing with all of his toys, especially his truck and excavator, and spending time with his family and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his Paternal Great Grandparents Sandy Wetherell, Tom & Donna Rassel, Paternal Great Great Grandpa Roy Wetherell. Maternal Great Grandparents, Reene Miller, Peggy & Harry Haburn, Zelma & John Peta, Delores & Sylvan Lemke, and Cousin Faith Hill.

Parker will lovingly be remembered by his Baby Brother Cooper Todd Wetherell, Mom and Dad Callie and Michael Wetherell; Maternal Grandparents Katina & Todd Peta Ceylon, MN, Paternal Grandparents Pam & Todd Wetherell, Cleghorn, IA; Maternal Great Grandparents Vicki & Galen Peta, Paternal Great Grandpa Ron Wetherell, Paternal Great Great Grandma Toppy Wetherell.
