Paul enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and especially his grandsons. He was an outdoorsman, who enjoyed deer hunting in his younger days and enjoyed feeding and entertaining the hunters in his later years. Paul loved spending time at his cabin, relaxing on the beach, and visiting with all who stopped by. Those who knew him best could expect to be offered a "beer or cocktail" upon arrival. He loved to entertain at the cabin with a fireworks show in the summer and a Swezey burger night to celebrate his birthday. Paul was known for keeping the wood burner going strong all winter long. His grandsons always knew a visit with him meant a full supply of juice barrels, candy, and great stories.
