PEGGY JO  LOCHNER , 84, of rural Cherokee, Iowa, passed away Wednesday evening, April 25, 2018 in the Cherokee Specialty Care.

It was Peggy's request that she be cremated and there will be no services. Her cremains will be buried beside her husband in the Good Hope Cemetery at rural Cherokee, Iowa. The Boothby Funeral Home in Cherokee, Iowa is assisting the family with the arrangements. Peggy was born April 5, 1934 at rural Marcus, Iowa to Paul & Bessie (Mileham) Conley. She graduated from Quimby High School. She was married to Richard W. Lochner on December 24, 1961 at the Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church, rural Marcus, Iowa.

Peggy had worked for Goettsch Photography in Holstein, Iowa for several years, coloring black and white photos. She was also a mother and a homemaker.

She was a member of the Mount Olive Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing the piano, knitting, crossword puzzles, spending time with the grandchildren and her dog Zoe.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Richard on October 10, 2014, an infant brother Donnie Conley, brothers Bobby Conley, Freddy Conley and his wife Bernadette Mews Conley, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Dale Lochner, Gerald and Joyce Hultman, Carol Hetrick, Paul Lochner, Lois Herron Van Wyk, Gary Herron, and Jerry Wolcott.

She is survived by her three children: Lori Lochner of Cherokee, Iowa; Kim Tuttle and her husband Mark of Cherokee and their children Tracie and Jessica; James Lochner and his wife Jonnie of Houston, Texas and their children Mariah (Nick) Wamberg of Cherokee, Iowa and Mikaela (Mike) Kemp of Tampa, Florida; three sisters: Pauline Wolcott of Cherokee, Iowa; Nancy (Art) Limberg of Decorah, Iowa; Patti Conley of Cherokee, Iowa; ssiters-in-law Shirley Lochner of Cherokee, Iowa; Dorothy Lochner of Turlock, California; Marilyn Lochner of Lebanon, Missouri, MaryLou Conley of Tulsa. Oklahoma; brother-in-law Carey Hetrick of Cherokee, Iowa; also many nieces and nephews.
