RICHARD D. “RICK” NELSON, 71, of Marcus, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at his home.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Cherokee, Iowa. Father Dan Rupp will officiate. Following services at the church, the family invites everyone to the Cherokee Golf Course for a time of fellowship in Rick’s honor.
