Roberta J. Carlson, 74 of Marcus, IA and formerly of Vermillion, SD passed away on April 20, 2025. A private memorial will be held at a later date. Roberta "Bobbi" was born on June 13, 1950, in Bethlehem, PA to Steve and Thelma (Murray) Stevenson. She attended school in Vermillion, graduating from Vermillion High School in 1969, and then attended the University of South Dakota, graduating in 1973.

She married Alan Carlson on November 19, 1972, and they shared a love of traveling and visited all 50 states and several countries together. She worked for many years as a receptionist at Saunders Chiropractic in Vermillion.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alan, and parents, Steve and Thelma Stevenson.

She is survived by her sister, Sandy Stevenson, in-laws: Joy (Bob) Dorr, Ann (Ken) Heidesch, Scott (Christy) Carlson, Kirk (Brenda) Carlson. Also nieces and nephews: Maria, Karen, Abby, Kari, Ashley, Todd, Nathan, Steven, and Kevin.
