SANDRA J. (CAMARIGG) DOMINA, 71, of Washta, Iowa passed away Tuesday morning, May 17, 2016 in the Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 21st at 10:30 a.m. at the Washta United Methodist Church. Pastor Barb Dinelli will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset View Cemetery at Washta, Iowa. There will be a family prayer service at 10:15 a.m. at the Church on Saturday. Visitation will be on Friday from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Boothby Funeral Home in Cherokee with the family present from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. On line condolences may be left at www.boothbyfuneral.com
Sandy was born August 27, 1944 IN Cherokee, Iowa to Robert and Betty (Conley) Camarigg. She was baptized on March 11, 1945 at Washta United Methodist Church. She attended Willow Community Schools. She was married to Donald Domina on December 31, 1979 at Salix, Iowa. She was a long time resident of Washta and had also lived in Sioux City for 20 years. Sandy was a hard worker, working several jobs around the area to provide for her family. She enjoyed camping, baking, watching Nascar, going to the casino and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Crystal Borer, granddaughter Mariah Beaumier, son-in-law Jerome Vondrak, many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She is survived by her husband Donald, her children, Cameile Vondrak of Pierson, Iowa; Carla Murphy and her significant other Wade Tolle of Marcus, Iowa; Sheila (Mike) Beaumier of Washta, Iowa; Shari (John) Orr of Sherwood, Oregon, 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren.
It was Sandra's request that her family and friends come to her funeral, casually dressed in jeans or anything that is comfortable to wear.
