Obituary
SHERRI (HORTON) CLAYTON, 51, of Cherokee, Iowa, passed away Tuesday morning, June 23, 2015 at her residence in the Autumn Park Apartments.
Sherri was born on July 20, 1963 at Oakland, California to Chester & Winifred (Ploof) Horton. She finished her education receiving her G.E.D. in 1995. She was a jack of all trades. She had lived in Cherokee, prior to this in Florida, West Virginia, California and Washington. Sherri enjoyed photography, was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and loved to crochet.
She is survived by her mother: Winifred Horton of Cherokee, Iowa; her beloved fiancé Jeff Zerkle of Cherokee, Iowa her son Barry (Lindy) Casper and their daughter Charlize Casper of Guyton, Georgia; her sister Teri (Jerry) Wiederien of Crestvew, Florida; niece Kassandra Kline and her sons Donovan & Leo Zeimen of Harlan, Iowa, nephew Kevin Kline of Avoca, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her father Chester Horton and a brother Timothy Horton
