Susan was born on September 10, 1937 at Cherokee, Iowa to Edgar & Glee (Druyor) Stiles. She graduated from Cherokee Washington High School in 1955. She was married to David Graham on September 30, 1956 at the Memorial Presbyterian Church in Cherokee, Iowa.
Susan was an elder and member of the Memorial Presbyterian Church, was a deaconess, served on the Board of Trustees, and had been a Sunday school teacher. She was also a member of TTT, Chapter EZ, numerous bridge clubs and social clubs, and The Neighborhood Club.
Susan became, in our opinion, the best cook in the county and an excellent seamstress. These skills resulted in two different employment opportunities. She worked for the Litton Company as a microwave oven demonstrator, traveling to shows and conventions in the Midwest. She also worked at Willow Hill in Cherokee doing wedding dress alterations. Gardening, traveling, flowers, the outdoors and spending time with her family were other things she enjoyed doing. Susan also bred pedigree West Highland White Terriers for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Charles "Chuck" Stiles.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years David; three children and three grandchildren: Stephanie (Greg) Aas of Aberdeen, South Dakota and their son Eric Aas of Vermillion, South Dakota; Joel Graham of Barcelona, Spain; Jason (Dhana) Graham and their children Julian and Alison of Glendale, California; sisters-in-law: Ione Stiles of Mobridge, South Dakota; and Beth Finzen of Akron, Iowa.
