Tara Ellen Hodgeman

Tara Ellen “Grippie” Hodgeman, the daughter of Fred and Lucretia “Kish” Hodgeman, was born on August 8, 1972, in Lakeport, IL. Her childhood years were spent in Joliet, IL and she graduated from Plainsfield High School in Plainsfield, IL in 1990.

 After school, Tara lived in Cherokee, IA where she worked at the Fareway Meat Department for six years. Tara enjoyed fishing, dancing, her flowers, wattching the Minnesota Vikings, and NASCAR. She liked most sports and played basketball and football. She also adored her cats, Lokie and Gracie, and her dog, Molly. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her fiancé Jiggs and family and friends.

 She will lovingly be remembered by her fiancé, Jiggs Curtis; parents, Fred and Lucretia Hodgeman; and one brother, Frederick Hodgeman.
